When TOCCA Life owner Tyler Cornell first came up with the acronym TOCCA – The Other Cancer Called Addiction – he was thinking what if addiction got as much attention as cancer does. As a disease, it does many of the same things, ravaging the body and mind. But cancer patients are given respectful treatment while addicts often feel rejected by the health and insurance systems. They are also similar in that both cancer and addiction wound, leaving scars. TOCCA Life and TOCCA House are respectful of those wounds and scars, which get better every day with the right attention and care.
